Vice-President, Corporate Services
Since joining CHSRF in 1998, Nancy has managed a diverse team providing a range of support functions to the organization. In her role as vice-president of Corporate Services, Nancy oversees administration, facilities, finance, grants and awards management, human resources, and information technology. Nancy also provides governance support to two standing committees of CHSRF’s Board of Trustees and is responsible for corporate issues in general.
Before arriving at CHSRF, Nancy gained extensive experience at the former Canadian Coordinating Office for Health Technology Assessment (now the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Therapies in Health), the Networks Centres of Excellence in Molecular and Interfacial Dynamics (CEMAID) at l'Université de Montréal, and at Cornell University in a number of academic departments.
Nancy holds a Master's of Public Administration from Cornell University and a certificate in human resources. In 2004, the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario awarded her the Hicks Morley Vision Award for outstanding contribution to the strategic goals of an organization. She is also a member of a number of organizations, including the Canadian Society of Association Executives and the Ontario Human Resources Professionals Association.
When she is not working, Nancy is an active volunteer in her community. She uses her organizational and administrative background to manage her daughters’ competitive hockey and soccer teams, while also serving on the Board of Directors for local community sports associations.
