Healthcare Financing, Innovation and Transformation
Healthcare accounts for roughly half of most provincial budgets. As a result, policy-makers across Canada share a similar challenge – how to strengthen the quality of healthcare without further escalating costs. By disseminating the best knowledge and evidence—as well as promoting productive dialogue among policy-makers, researchers and the public—CHSRF is actively supporting improvements to Canadian healthcare by undertaking applied policy research and organizing a variety of policy dialogues in the areas of health system innovation and transformation, cost drivers and efficiency, and financing models.

What If?
A series of healthcare ideas worth talking about
If you missed our successful symposium on healthcare financing in Toronto earlier this month, you can now share in the experience. Based on reports commissioned by CHSRF to provide policy options for healthcare financing in Canada, this series presents eight ideas for discussion. For each What If? scenario, many others can be found in the reports, also available through these pages.
