The overall goal of this three-day event was to enhance evidence-informed decision-making in health system policy and management. Tailored to respond to the specific interests of the Atlantic region, the program (PDF - 292  KB) focused upon local content and expertise. Participants were welcome to attend one day, the whole event, or any portion depending on their level of interest in given topics. The conference attracted delegates from government, health authorities, hospitals, research institutions, professional associations and voluntary health organizations.

The Research Use Week program bundles a variety of research use tools and resources to help you:

  • distinguish good from not-so-good research;
  • facilitate the use of research in your organization;
  • use research evidence to lead organizational change;
  • develop effective networks; as well as
  • understand the benefits of knowledge brokering and integrate brokering into your organization.
